The flexible permanent pitcher favourite is back!

The previously, well liked and admired Isabella Forum awning has returned to the Isabella range. The Forum Etna has only one option of frame-type; the Isabella mega frame which will provide all the reliability, steadfastness and stability you need for long-term, permanent pitching. The Forum is now available in the Etna colour scheme, which is characterised by warm, dark shades particularly well suited to seasonal camping.

Design flexibility is a very important characteristic of an awning - it enables you to make the awning suit your needs and therefore provide greater enjoyment and satisfaction whilst you use it. To help fulfil this need, the Forum Etna has adjustable fronts enabling you to adapt the interior and exterior of the awning to suits your needs and requirements. The front can either be pulled back one metre to make space for a covered terrace area, or you can just pull one half back and create a porch in front of the entrance door. Another nice feature adding flexibility to the awning's use is the front sections can also be swapped enabling you to place the door on whichever side you prefer.

Note also that an additional front section is available as an optional extra ( eg it is an additional - separate purchase and does not come as standard with the awning ). This allows you to create a little “hallway” and so achieve even greater flexibility. 

The main awning material is Isabella's Isacryl 295 g/m², which has that magical combination of being highly water resistant yet enables the awning to breathe. The roof uses Isabella's Isaroof 285 g/m² material, a durable, UV resistant polyester that is treated with three layers of breathable acrylic.

The Isabella Forum Etna comes with a number of items as standard which include, a set of curtains, a wheel arch cover,  a draught skirt, FixOn, a partition wall, an awning bag, a pole bag, a peg bag and a peg remover.

The New Etna Colour Scheme

Inspired by the Mediterranean landscape. It’s all about warm, natural colours of ‘walnut’ and ‘volcano’. The dark Etna shades are particularly practical for seasonal camping.

• Canvas Material: Isacryl 295 g/m² - a spinneret-dyed ( i.e. the fibres are dyed ), textured-weave, durable acrylic material. Isacryl has the highest achievable fade-resistance thanks to the pigmentation method. The density of the weave plus the impregnation all the way through the material prevent water ingress. Nevertheless, Isacryl is a breathable material, which facilitates the best possible indoor climate in the awning.
• Roof Material: Isaroof 285 g/m² - a UV protective acrylate-coated polyester, with an added top coat in 3 layers.

  Zinox Mega Frame - a durable tubular steel frame ( material thickness: 32mm / 1.2mm ) with welded corners and double screw lock on the poles. MegaFrame is designed for year-round use with a full awning.

To Find The Correct Awning Size For Your Caravan

Full Awnings
To find the correct size of awning for your caravan you need to find the 'A' measurement. This is often given in handbooks by the manufacturer of the caravan, but if you cannot find the 'A' measurement then you can measure it yourself.

Position the caravan on even, level ground. Measure from the ground level at a point directly below the awning rail at the front of the caravan to the ground level point directly below the awning rail at the rear of the caravan. You can do this quite easily using a piece of string or chord. This measurement will be the red line shown on the image.

Porch Awnings
Generally, you do not use the 'A' measurement for porch awnings. Instead you will want the awning rail height from ground level - shown as 'H' on the diagram. Unlike the awning rail height which is a fixed dimension, the width of the awning - shown as 'L' on the diagram is variable. Some people do not like to fix an awning across a window as shown on the left hand side of the diagram, so they would probably buy an awning either with a smaller width or wider width if room permits. Essentially the choice is yours to make.

In the vast majority of cases, because products are generally available from stock, your order will be dispatched earlier than this.
